Version and prerequisites
Version 4.8.7 with Manager 1.15.0: levels, prerequisites and what has changed in operation.
What it is for
This manual describes EasyUC 4.8.7 together with EasyUC Manager 1.15.0. The Manager is a product of its own with its own version number and is updated separately.
Since 4.8.7 all application services are in a single container image. A release comes as one signed file (easyuc-<version>-amd64.eucpkg) and is applied in the Manager on the EasyUC-Update page. The Manager can return to the previous version after an update.
Field and button labels are highlighted in the instructions. The Manager interface is German, some of its dialogs are English, and some Manager pages write umlauts as ae, oe and ue. The manual quotes the labels as the interface shows them.
Prerequisites
- EasyUC Manager 1.15.0 or later (below 2.0.0) for EasyUC 4.8.7.
- For the update to 4.8.7: installed EasyUC version 4.8.5 or later. Bring older systems to 4.8.5 first.
- K3s 1.34.0 or later, all nodes with amd64 architecture.
- Data services at MariaDB 11.8.9, RabbitMQ 4.2.5 and Elasticsearch 9.5.4. An EasyUC update does not change them.
- CUCM 11.5 or later for the CUCM module.
- A licence that covers the installed modules. Roles and location rights limit the visible menus and the actions that can be performed.
Step by step: determine the installed version

Check the result and troubleshoot
- If the EasyUC-Update page is missing in the Manager, a Manager older than 1.15.0 is running. Update the Manager first.
- If a described menu is missing in the administration, first check module, connection, user role and location access.
- Before a change, select the correct workspace and the correct CUCM connection or Teams tenant.
- Saving, assigning, deleting and updating routes change the connected systems. Check target object and summary before confirming.
- Replace example values in the manual with the values of your installation. Keep credentials outside the manual in the password management intended for them.
- After 4.8.7 has been installed, the Manager must not be rolled back to a version below 1.15.0.
