What EasyUC 4.9.41 contains
Phone agents can check current staff availability and show human assistance requests in authorized agent and attendant workspaces. A previous contact can be requested as the preferred employee while other authorized staff can also take over. Speaking the previous employee’s name to the caller is a separate option, off by default. Availability that cannot be checked is reported as unknown.
An optional callback offer collects the caller’s name, number and request, reads them back and saves a note only after confirmation. Announcement texts are configurable. Staff can claim the task, select “Call customer” and share outcomes and notes in a journal. Dialling is recorded as an attempt, not proof of a connected conversation. Human assistance requests and callback offers start disabled.
Knowledge processing better preserves web headings, simple table columns and long CSV/SQL records. Text, Markdown and CSV imports, source readiness, scan age and tests for questions and alternative phrasings help maintain content. Explicitly approved, source-supported answers to configured questions can be spoken without a new model generation. Changes to sources, questions or language revoke approval; time-dependent questions and SQL knowledge are excluded. Repeated retrieval preparation and unnecessary search translations are reduced. Answer tests and monitoring provide additional timing measurements.
Speech sensitivity has three levels. Pauses from 300 to 2,000 ms now also reach local and GPU recognition; Amazon Transcribe controls its own end-of-turn detection. ElevenLabs Scribe v2 Realtime adds an optional background-conversation filter. Recognition retains short answers and word beginnings. Conversation instructions prioritize concise, clear responses. Actual latency and intelligibility still depend on the speech service, model and telephone path.
Large CUCM phone lists use paged reads after a size-limit response. Single-call diagnostics no longer have the twelve-trace-files-per-node limit. A race involving very early audio during call answering is fixed. Locations gain optional LDAP number matching with prefixes, extension lengths and an assignment preview; original LDAP values stay unchanged and ambiguous locations are not assigned automatically. Call reports, user reports and device registrations have a clearer visual layout with unchanged functionality. CUCM and Teams user/device selectors now render correctly in attendant setup.
Signed application update for existing Manager versions from 2.0.4 up to, but excluding, 3.0.0. Adds location configuration and human-request/callback-journal tables while retaining existing call reports. No separate Manager update is required. Sources and approved answers need editorial review; real speech quality, noise filtering and end-to-end latency must be checked with the deployed phones and provider accounts.
The customer portal provides the files with SHA-256 checksums and the release notes with every installation step. The update runs offline; your servers do not need a connection to us.
