Administration
CURRI search order and display formats
Define whether EasyUC searches the CUCM contacts or the EasyUC phonebook first.
In EasyUC: EasyUC Cisco → Administration → Integrations & Communication → Phonebooks → CURRI Settings
What it is for
For an incoming call, the CUCM queries EasyUC through CURRI. EasyUC looks up the caller number in the phonebooks and returns the name that the phone displays.
This page defines which source is searched first and how the name is composed. The setting applies to the CUCM connection selected at the top.
Prerequisites
- Access to the administration of the Cisco workspace, licence module
cucm. - CURRI is connected in the CUCM and phonebooks are set up.
Step by step
Fields and options
| Field / action | Meaning and use |
|---|---|
| CUCM Personal Phonebook | Search order: the user's CUCM contacts first, then EasyUC. |
| EasyUC Personal/Global Phonebook | Search order: the EasyUC phonebook first, then the CUCM contacts. |
| EasyUC Contact Display Format | Placeholders: {{firstName}}, {{lastName}}, {{department}}, {{email}}, {{city}}, {{country}}, {{company}}. |
| CUCM Contact Display Format | Placeholders: {{firstName}}, {{lastName}}, {{displayName}}, {{email}}. |
Check the result and troubleshoot
- Under CURRI → Curri Logs you see for each call whether the result was Phonebook match or CUCM directory match.
- If the display stays empty, the contact lacks the field that the placeholder uses.
- If a contact exists in both sources, the search order decides which match is displayed.
- The same formats can be opened on the CUCM connection under Actions → CURRI settings.
