What it is for

Softphones such as Jabber clients accumulate in the CUCM when users change their device or leave the company. The softphone report captures the inventory at a point in time and lists the clients with model and status.

From within the report you select softphones and delete them. A separate view shows the softphones that have already been deleted.

Prerequisites

  • To delete clients Delete Soft Phones (ROLE_APP_DELETE_SOFTPHONE_FROM_REPORTS), to delete a report Delete Soft Phone Reports.

Step by step

  1. Open Reporting → Bestand & Systemzustand → Soft Phones Reports (the menu group means inventory and system state).
  2. Click Create Report and confirm the prompt.
  3. Wait until the report shows the status success in the list.
  4. On the report, click View Logs. The dialog Soft Phones Report shows device, model and status.
  5. Select the softphones that are to be removed, or use Select All.
