EasyUC for Microsoft Teams

Physical Teams phones

View the inventory of a tenant’s certified Teams desk phones and SIP phones.

EasyUC · Version 4.8.7

In EasyUC: EasyUC Teams → Teams → Teams Tenants → tenant → Phones

What it is for

The Phones section shows the hardware phones Microsoft manages for this tenant: certified Teams desk phones and SIP phones managed by Microsoft. The data comes from the Teams device inventory through Microsoft Graph.

You need this view to check which device belongs to which user, whether it is reported as healthy and which serial number or MAC address it has. The attendant console uses the same inventory when you assign a Teams desk phone to an attendant.

Teams clients on computers and mobile devices are not hardware phones and do not appear here. Phone numbers are in the Number plan section.

Prerequisites

  • Licence module teams. Without this module the EasyUC Teams workspace does not appear.
  • Role EasyUC Teams (ROLE_APP_TEAMS_WORKSPACE) with the sub-permission TENANTS (ROLE_APP_TEAMS_TENANTS). To switch and delete, also TENANTS bearbeiten (ROLE_APP_TEAMS_TENANTS_EDIT).
  • Graph credentials are stored and tested.
  • The app registration has the application permission TeamworkDevice.Read.All including admin consent.

Check the result and narrow down errors

  • Success: the number of phones is shown above the list, and the device cards appear under Physical Teams devices.
  • “Microsoft Graph credentials are missing” Store the Graph access under Settings.
  • “This tenant does not return any Teams phone.” Either there are no managed hardware phones, or TeamworkDevice.Read.All is missing. Check the permission and the admin consent.
  • “No Teams phone matches this search.” Search for a shorter term.
  • „Die Teams-Telefone konnten nicht geladen werden.“ Check the Graph access and the client secret.
  • A device in the inventory says nothing about whether calls are delivered through the EasyUC SBC. Check that in the call history.
