Diagnostics & monitoring
Storage: check disk utilisation
Read used and free space and the size of backups, FTP stores and the database.
In EasyUC: Administration → System & Operations → Storage
What it is for
The Disk Utilization page shows how full the EasyUC disk is and which stores take up the space. You need it before starting large diagnostic runs or log collections, and regularly in operation, because CDRs, backups and logs grow over time.
The page is display only. It deletes nothing and changes no retention. You free up space through the retention settings of the respective function, for example CDR, audit log, collected CUCM logs or call analysis runs.
Prerequisites
- Access to the menu area Administration → System & Operations, or to System in the ACD and Teams areas.
- No licence module required. The menu entry belongs to the general system entries.
Step by step
Fields and options
| Field / action | Meaning and use |
|---|---|
| Total Disk Size | Size of the disk. |
| Used Disk Size | Shown in red. Space currently used. |
| Free Disk Size | Shown in green. Space still available. |
| Backups Directory | Size of the stored backups. |
| Pictures FTP | Size of the FTP store for pictures. |
| CDR FTP | Size of the FTP store for CDR files. |
| Database | Size of the EasyUC database. |
Check the result and narrow down errors
- The values are consistent when used and free space together make up the total size.
- If CDR FTP grows, check intake and retention under CDR at the CUCM connection. If files remain there, they may not be being processed.
- If Backups Directory grows, check the number and retention of the backups.
- Call analysis only starts when enough space is free. The message "There is not enough free disk space on the server for a run." points to a full disk.
- Do not delete files by hand outside the intended management functions.
- The page does not show every store separately. Audit log, collected CUCM logs and call analysis runs also take up space; you see their size in the respective function or in the total used value.
