Change history in the full cluster report

Record the logged changes from CUCM and EasyUC for a period in the report.

What it is for

An inventory report shows what the cluster looks like. The change history additionally shows what was changed in the days before, by whom and with which old and new values.

For this, EasyUC includes the recorded changes from CUCM and EasyUC for a rolling window of X times 24 hours up to the report start. The history is saved once at the start. Display, export and comparison use this saved state; later changes do not alter it.

Prerequisites

  • Role ROLE_APP_ADMIN.
  • Changes are recorded for the connection. The history can only contain what was captured in the period.

Step by step

  1. Open Reporting → Bestand & Systemzustand → Cluster-Gesamtbericht (inventory and system state → full cluster report).
  2. Under Options for the next report, tick the option Include changes.
  3. Under Last X days, enter the number of days. The preset is 7.
  4. Enter the name and click Create report.
  5. Open the finished report. In the list it carries the note "Includes changes from the last … days".
  6. Click Change history on the left.
  7. Under Origin, choose between CUCM and EasyUC, CUCM and EasyUC.
  8. On an event, click Show changes to see the field, the old value and the new value.
  9. Download the report via PDF or Word. The history is part of the document.

DetailsField changes with old and new value as well as added and removed members. Sensitive values are hidden.

Check the result and troubleshoot

  • "The saved change data covers the selected period.": The history is complete.
  • "The saved change history is incomplete.": The recording does not cover the whole period or the amount was limited. In that case only recorded changes are counted; a dash means that a count is unavailable.
  • "No changes in this saved period.": Nothing was changed in the window.
  • "Enter a whole number from 1 to 365 days.": Correct the number of days.
  • "The saved change history could not be loaded.": Click Try again.
  • The saved history is limited to 2000 entries. If there are very many changes, choose a shorter window.
