EasyUC for Cisco

The user profile

All data, phones, numbers and groups of a CUCM user on one page.

EasyUC · Version 4.8.7

In EasyUC: EasyUC Cisco → Users → Users → user card

Images come from the EasyUC lab. Names and example values provide orientation. A different interface language is indicated beside the relevant image.

What it is for

The user profile is the working page for a single CUCM user. It combines master data, phones, lines, voicemail, groups, Single Number Reach, call list and change history in tabs. From here you create phones, change password and PIN, assign language and service profile and delete the user.

When the profile is opened, EasyUC reads the data from the CUCM and, where connected, from Unity Connection and Contact Center Express. The connection setting for loading the widgets defines which areas are loaded immediately. You load all other areas on demand with Load data. This keeps the page fast on large clusters.

For helpdesk accounts there is a basic profile. It shows only the master data and, if required, allows password and PIN to be set. Phones, lines and groups are neither loaded nor displayed in this case.

Prerequisites

  • Licence module cucm.
  • Full profile: ROLE_APP_VIEW_ENDUSER_PROFILE. The role includes the sub-roles for the individual areas, which can also be granted individually.

  • Voicemail tab: ROLE_APP_VIEW_ENDUSER_PROFILE_VOICEMAIL or the Unity permission for users. In addition, the connection must have a voicemail integration, or Unity Connection must be bound to this connection.
  • CCX Agent tab: Contact Center Express is set up for this connection and your account has the CCX permission for agents.

Check the result and troubleshoot

  • The profile is fully loaded when the loading bar below the header disappears and the device list shows group headings with a count.
  • A tab is missing: the sub-role is missing, or the integration is not set up for this connection (voicemail, CCX). After a change of the CUCM connection, the page jumps back from Voicemail and CCX Agent to User details.
  • You do not have the rights to see this section: the account lacks the sub-role for this area.
  • An area remains empty and shows Load data: this is not an error. According to the connection setting, the area is not loaded automatically.
  • Phones of other users could not be loaded: the device list shows only the user's own devices. Reload the profile with Refresh.
  • Busy Trigger is not in sync: warning icon next to Devices. The lines of the controlled phones have different values. Align them with Set all to 1 or Set all to 2.
  • Enduser home cluster disabled: the Login to Phone button is locked because the user is not kept as a home cluster user on this cluster.
  • Delete is missing: the user comes from LDAP, or the check still found configuration. In that case use the quick task Delete Enduser.
  • 2FA could not be disabled. Please try again. or Status currently unavailable: the authenticator status could not be read or changed. Try again after a short time.
  • Basic profile: Profil nicht verfügbar oder keine Berechtigung. (profile not available or no permission). The user is outside your locations or the release is missing.
  • Basic profile: Bitte übereinstimmende Werte und für die PIN nur Ziffern eingeben. (enter matching values and digits only for the PIN). Value and repetition do not match, or the PIN contains other characters.
  • Basic profile: Änderung nicht bestätigt. Bitte Berechtigung, Verbindung und CUCM-Kennwortrichtlinie prüfen. (change not confirmed; check permission, connection and CUCM password policy). The CUCM rejected the value or was not reachable.
